Light Clients and NIPoPoWs in Ergo#

Light Clients play a crucial role in enhancing the accessibility and scalability of blockchain networks. Pruned Full-Node#

Simplified Payment Verification (SPV) Client#

Ergo’s implementation of Simplified Payment Verification (SPV) Clients leverages the NIPoPoW protocol to achieve significant reductions in data requirements for transaction verification. NIPoPoWs allow Ergo to create mobile SPV clients that need to download only about 100KB of block headers, substantially less than traditional full-node clients.
